I DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING!!!!!

Today was another great day! The sub was awesome, we got along great, and she even told me that my CT talked me up! That is so great to hear after having a CT who talked me DOWN. It means a lot to have the encouragment from someone who sees what I'm capable of.

*I appologize now if this entry is littered with spelling errors. I have been grading spelling tests, and my CT said that the more you do it the more you second guess your spelling....So far she has been totally right.

If I'm being totally honest, I doubt my ability to teach, mainly, beacause I doubt my knowledge. My biggest fear is being unable to convey the information because I don't recall it myself. How can one person know everything? They can't. Today I was shown that teachers DON'T know everything, and that it's okay NOT to know everything. Students understand this and learning becomes a team effort. The teacher brings what they know, combines it with what the students know and voila: learning begins. Teachers learn their entire lives, and to be honest I'm excited to learn all that I can. I know my students will teach me things I never dreamed of.
