Grand Valley as a whole has been such a blessing to me. The Professors are passionate and truly care about their students. For that, I am truly thankful. This trend is still the same within the College of Education Professional Program of which I am a part of. Today I had a HUGE issue at my school, handled it, and was able to contact my field coordinator. I wrote her a detailed email explaining the issue, how I handled it and asked what I could do in the future to avoid this happening again.
She returned my email with a kind voicemail. Upon listening to her voicemail and kind encouragement I couldn't help but get emotional. To be commended by a professional educator meant the world to me. She knew where I was coming from and understood my concerns. I'm so grateful that Grand Valley is able to provide such nurturing support staff for their students.
