Tomorrow begins my journey at East Leonard Elementary school working with 1st graders!
I fear I will___________________ tomorrow
1. Oversleep
2. Get lost on the way
3. Arrive late on my first day
4. My car won't start
5. I'll act awkward as I try to figure out my role in the classroom
6. Not be able to learn/pronounce the names of the children
7. Mispronounce my coordinating teachers last name
8. Act nervous
9. Forget paperwork
I hope I will_____________tomorrow
1. I hope I will make a difference
2. I hope I will be calm
3. I hope I will take it all in
4. I hope I feel welcomed
5. I hope the children feel comfortable with me
6. I hope I connect with my coordinating teacher
7. I hope I am all I can be for those children
8. I hope my face is never without a smile
This is huge. It's one thing to give arbitrary lessons to a group of college students, and another to actually be with a group of children ready to learn. I won't be teaching any lessons right off the bat, but this will be the ultimate goal. I pray this truly is what God has in store for me and that I can pull it off.

I've still got quite a few semesters before I have this experience — but I'm already starting to have the same concerns! I'm sure you'll do great! Will say a prayer that you have no hard times in the morning and all goes well! :)
