First Entry

As a practicing "teacher" I have found that there are many ups and downs that go along with the caring of children. This blog is designed to be a vessel to compile these occurances for future review. I hope to grow as a teacher through the reading of past entries as well as note the good things that happen each day instead of dwelling on the negative. I hope to eventually remove the quotation marks around the word teacher to signify that I have, finally, reached teacher status. For me, reaching this won't merely be accomplished through a degree or a  full-time teaching job, but rather through the inspiration and teaching of a child. Then and only then will I see myself as a teacher.
